I'm Pastor Gary and I am excited to be the Campus Minister for Graduate Students and Faculty Ministries (GFM) here at CSUDH! Our mission is to provide a safe, diverse, and welcoming environment where the integration of faith, learning, and practice can be exercised. I look forward to us partnering to see God's presence flourish on the CSUDH campus!
Joy Hawkins
Chapter President
Joy is a third year Master's student in the Department of Social Work, graduating in May of 2022. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She has been working as a Certified Nurse Assistant and Certified Home Health Aide with hospice patients for 20 years. After graduation, she is interested in obtaining a position as a Medical Social Worker and providing a safe place for kids to receive therapy and learn about Jesus Christ. She believes as Proverbs 22:6 states, train up a child in the way he/ she should go when he/she is old he/she will not depart from it.
